Declan boy

Only 7 weeks old and full of smiles and giggles. Baby Declan is new to the world and I had the fun task of capturing for the first time all his ''kissable'' bits like his hands, feet, nose and toes. I love babies and this age is so precious especially when they are still floppy and totally aah!

Cute sisters celebrate Easter

I had the privilege today of photographing a 6 week old baby and her older sister. Kally and Kenna are such adorable children, and they bring so much joy to their parents. I just love capturing the ''Kissable bits'' of babies, such as they hands, feet, nose and toes. They grow so fast that cherishing them for the moment in a photograph helps us to remind us what a miracle new life truly is.

Merit Award

I am so delighted to have been awarded a Merit Award for one of my dance images at the recently held PPNC convention (Professional Photographer's of North Carolina). This annual convention holds a print competition for professional photographer's through out the state, and merits are give to prints scoring 80 or higher. My silhouette photo of a dancer scored 83 and I'm tickled pink with that, as my dance photography is something I don't get to do too often.

What flavor bride are you?

After many weeks of hard work, I am so excited to finally see the photos I took come to life for the article I wrote entitled ''What flavor bride are you?''.

Even though the weather was awful on January 5th, we all had a blast and it was a bonus to finish off the delicious cakes that Iris of Austin Bakery provided for the shoot.

My thanks go to the wonderful people for helping to make the shoot a huge success.

New iPod Purse Popper

The launch of my wedding albums on video iPod is proving to create a real buzz. I can't wait to see the launch promotion in Barbara McKay's ''Premier Bride'' magazine that is coming out by the end of April.

Life is short

Life is short

Welcome to my Blog spot. I'm so excited about sharing my life and photography adventures with you. Life is so precious that being able to document our memories is such a privilege. I was reminded today of how fragile life is. A young teen from our church was enjoying a skiing trip with his friends, and a freek accident where he hit a tree has now left a family grieving for his loss. All they now have left is their memories and photographs of a life once lived. So take the rest of the day to celebrate life, love and the blessings we are so graciously given.
