Shantala, Santosh and little Sidartha came in for a visit to capture the story of mom's pregnant belly. At just 20 months old Sidartha was a real trooper and we managed to steal some great moments before we lost his attention. I love to try new things and I was delighted to get some fresh angles. The 3 quarter sleeved shirt worked very well to show off proud mom's baby belly.

Pretty girls all in pink! Capturing the loving relationship between siblings is always a treat and a challenge. Baby Rayna was just 2 weeks old and big sister Hannah were such a delight to capture. Take a look at the different designs I put together for mom to pick from. Can you guess which ones mom chose to decorate her hair salon wall?

Having seen the promo for the new movie with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman ''The Bucket List'', I was inspired to ponder on what my list would look like. At the end of my walk on this earth what would I want to achieve and what legacy will I have left behind? It's an interesting exercise and I would suggest picking up pen and paper and trying it for yourself. Personally, I discovered that what is most important to me is spending quality time with my family, especially while my kids are still little (they are 9 and 6 years old). This meant I had to make changes to my status quo so I could better fulfill my roles as mother, wife and artist more truthfully and with vigor! The other thing I discovered is that I want to learn new skills purely for my own enjoyment, one of which was learning to figure skate like a pro (okay well almost like a pro). I'm rejuvenated with spit and vinegar and my newly found hobby is offering me the ''me time'' I've needed for so long – I can now do what I gotta with a smile! Then the other thing I discovered was that it is important to me to leave a legacy that inspires others to greatness, gives hope and inspiration, and provides opportunities for others who simply need a little push.

So keep your eye out for exciting and inspirational adventures I will be embarking on in 2008. I cannot do it alone and I’m always so grateful to have the opportunities to meet, greet and bond with people such as you. Onwards and upwards is my new motto along with my favorites of Seize the day!!!

Welcome 2008! Boy can you believe that we are already 8 years into the 21st century, time does fly when you're having fun.
