I love the anticipation of a baby's arrival and sharing in these special moments with families. Baby Daniel the 5th is expected in April and I'm so excited to be invited to capture his in hospital birth portraits. In preperation we captured the pregnancy portraits of Mom, Dad and big sister Gabrielle.

On Friday February 15th I had a blast meeting pregnant Moms at our model search conducted at Belly Elan maternity store in the Providence Promenade mall. I thoroughly enjoyed photographing these glowing ladies and I just love chatting about their baby bundles. My calendar project in support of the charity March of Dimes is in full swing and now having found willing models, we will be doing the 'real' shoot on March 4th with celebrity make-up artist, Chris Lanston. Chris is a talented artist having received his training from world renown industry leaders, and he always makes my models and clients look absolutely gorgeous! He will be starring in reality TV show coming soon so look out for him. I'm so thrilled to have Chris on board with our project as Chris's sister was a recipient herself of donations from March of Dimes and I know his contribution will make all my model Moms feel and look fabulous! The Prenatal Picture joins with Photo Lyrical Photography to offer its clients in-store Pregnancy Portraits. Have your 3D/4D scan of your baby done and for just $25 (usually $100) you will have your maternity portrait artistically captured with elegance and style.

The 30 minute sessions are being held at the Prenatal Picture on Wednesday February 27th from 10am to 3pm. Located at 8000 Corporate Center Drive, Suite 113, Charlotte, North Carolina 28226.

Our Mini sessions are for 1-3 children only and last about 30 minutes. Each session will include one 8x12 fine art gift portrait and an online gallery with approximately 10 images with online ordering for one week. All specialty studio items will be available for purchase a la carte, including prints, art canvases, display pieces, holiday cards, and photo jewelry. This session includes a pre-session consultation, image editing, minor retouching, and up to 2 hours of portrait consultation at your Unveiling appointment to assist you with your portrait order.

For a woman, having their very first child brings with it loads of excitement, anticipation and awe at the miracle of life that their body is producing. I just love photographing pregnant bumps and helping moms-to-be feel proud of their beautiful pregnant form it always makes me proud. I love it how after the session they leave with a feeling of being beautiful. Malissa was no exception and I was tickled pink with the results.
