Hannah and I, a young and upcoming model who is signed with Charlotte's premier modeling agency (Evolution Wilhemina), got together for a test fashion shoot at Colonel Beatty Park. I enjoy the opportunity to use my fashion hat to come up with trendy looking poses to compliment today's 'lifestyle' taste for advertising. Hannah did great and I'm sure she has a long and successful career ahead as a professional model.
The editor of the magazine, Charlotte Baby & Child, invited me along to Pigtails & Crewcuts to photograph a children Hawaiian style party. Much to my delight the birthday girl was someone I have already had the opportunity to photograph, so it was great that the girls were comfortable with me around. The store hosted this Hawaiian themed party were girls dressed up in hula skirt, drank juice out of plastic coconuts, and played the hula. Look out for the photos in the next Spring edition of the magazine coming out in April 2008.
What a cutie! Little Olivia is the daughter of birth doula, Brooke, and she brought her along to the studio for some fun. With beautiful big blue eyes and a very friendly disposition, the portraits of Olivia in my pink cotton candy pettiskirts turned out great!
